Scouts

Our Scout Troop

Each Scout Troop consists of small units of six to eight Scouts called a patrol and are usually led by a patrol leader.

Outdoor activities feature prominently with the highlight being camping. Throughout the year Scouts learn various skills such as map reading, camp cooking and first aid in preparation for camp.

Our Scout Troop currently has one group of active members and leaders that meet on Monday evenings between 7pm and 8.45pm. If your child would like to join us or you’ve got an interest in helping us out then please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
