Squirrels

Our Drey

Meet the newest branch of our Scouts family tree – Squirrels! Squirrels is a completely new provision for 4 and 5 year olds. There are plenty of reasons to get stuck in as Squirrels give young people the chance to:

  • Make friends
  • Have fun outdoors
  • Learn new things
  • Earn badges through fun activities

Every week Squirrels will gather to grow and learn their way through lots of different games and activities. Squirrels will achieve anything they set their minds to and having lots of fun along the way.

The one hour sessions, Wednesday evenings between 5 and 6pm, will be a brilliant opportunity for a young person’s first step into Scouting and preparing them for school years.

Outdoor activities, fun, games, badges and so much more. Squirrels is the opportunity for young people to learn skills for life. Supported by amazing leaders delivering an inspiring programme.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
